ICE VISE with Tracton is applied to the stubborn layer of ice or snow than cannot be removed by scraping or shoveling. It can be applied as temperatures begin to drop or snow begins to fall to help prevent slippery conditions.

The amount of ICE VISE with Tracton needed to accomplish desired results depends upon the severity of the conditions. The thicker the ice or packed snow is, the more product necessary. Generally, spread ICE VISE with Tracton evenly at the rate of 1/2 to 1 cup per 1 sq.yd. Do not over-spread. Avoid piling. The melting effectiveness of ICE VISE with Tracton will depend on the outdoor temperature and the thickness of ice. On extremely thick ice, reapply as necessary. As ice and snow melt, remove slush and ICE VISE with Tracton from the pavement surface.
